Working to Syllabus

All our programs are tailored for the individual needs of the student whether it be to help the student to better understand a concept or to further their knowledge and skills through extra questions that are relevant to the syllabus. As a result, our students are able to gain more insight into a topic and also use this understanding to attempt questions they wouldn’t have before.

Preparation for Trials and Final Exams

We are exam focused and constantly give exam-style questions to our students so they are prepared and are ready for the exam.

MATHEMATICS- Standard, Advanced, Extension 1 & 2

We have experienced tutors for Mathematics where we tailor the teaching style to the student’s level of understanding and needs. We provide relevant exam-style questions for the Preliminary and HSC course in order to widen the scope of our students’ understanding and skills. Consequently, our students do better in exams due to their increased understanding of concepts and are accustomed to the type of questions given and how to approach such questions. A sample of the HSC style questions given for Mathematics (Advanced) can be found in the ‘Free Resources’ tab.

ENGLISH- Standard, Advanced, Extension 1 & 2

We have experienced tutors for English who are able to guide the students with their preliminary and HSC course work. The tutors offer to give ideas and are able to edit and constantly give feedback to the students with their writing. Over the HSC year, we focus on writing the core essays/texts in order for the students to be ready for their HSC exam. We have a variety of resources and plenty of related texts the students could use to write their essays on. A sample of HSC notes and an essay question given for English (Advanced) can be found in the ‘Free Resources’ tab.

CHEMISTRY

The Preliminary course (Year-11) modules incorporates the study of the Chemical Earth, Metals, Water, Energy. The HSC course (Year-12) incorporates the study of Production of Materials , The Acidic Environment , Chemical Monitoring and Management and an elective topic.

PHYSICS

The Preliminary course (Year-11) incorporates the study of the World Communicates, Electrical Energy in the Home , Moving About and the Cosmic Engine. The HSC course (Year-12) incorporates the study of Space, Motors and Generators, From Ideas to Implementation and one elective topic.

BIOLOGY

The Preliminary course (Year-11) incorporates the study of a Local Ecosystem, Patterns in Nature, Life on Earth, Evolution of Australian Biota. The HSC course (Year-12) incorporates the study of Maintaining a Balance, Blueprint of Life, The Search for Better Health and one elective topic
