Pathway to HSC success

A strong learning foundation in Years 7 -10 is the key to achieve better results in Year 11 and 12. Our tutors help you understand difficult concepts through explanation and simple examples.

Year 10 subject selection

Student's interest drives subject selection for HSC. The tutors guide the students to go for extension subjects based upon the assessment tests.

YEAR 9 NAPLAN score matters now

Students will have to prove they meet the standard by achieving Band 8 results or above in Year 9 NAPLAN reading, writing and numeracy tests.

MATHEMATICS

MATHEMATICS

Students of all levels of ability benefit from this program which helps them progress as well as they can through high school. The program covers all operations, fractions, decimals and perĀ­centages, geometry, algebra and equations, statistics and probability, as well as strategies for solving both routine and compliĀ­cated word problems.

ENGLISH

ENGLISH

Learning how to plan and write texts is a major component of this program. Students find this very useful across a range of subjects. The program covers reading comprehension and written expression of a wide range of text types such as discussion, exposition, information reports, media texts and poetry. Students revise grammar, punctuation and spelling and develop their vocabulary and general knowledge.

SCIENCE

SCIENCE

This program helps students to work scientifically by developing their problem solving and experimental skills. The syllabus covers Physical World, Earth and Space, Living World and Chemical World. This course prepares students to take up science stream subjects in HSC.

  • How would I know about my child's progress ?

    We provide you continuous feedback about your child's progress:

    • A written progress report at the end of school term
    • Face to face meeting with tutor
    • Marked homework with tutor's comments is sent home every week
  • How many students are there per group?

    We offer one-on-one private tutoring lessons. In case of group tutoring, the group sizes are kept small with a view to provide personalized attention to each student. The group size vary between 2 to 5 students.
